Targets 18-24 year old homeless men who have aged out of foster care and have a diagnosed disability.   


Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) Independence Place

Permanent Supportive Housing  
Targets 18-24 year old young adults who were formerly in foster care in Cuyahoga County. Must have been homeless for 1yr.or have had 3-4 incidences of living in uninhabitable dwellings.

United Way: 211 First Call for Help

Free confidential information and referral for health and human services. 

Based on need, serves Cuyahoga, Geauga, Medina, Wayne and Holmes Counties. Callers will be asked for zip code and age. Callers will be given at least 3 resources. 


Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA)

Administers rent subsidy programs   To provide eligible low income persons with affordable housing Limited to income qualified families and individuals. Qualify based on gross annual income, eligibility as elderly, family or individual with disabilities; US citizen Individuals aging out of Foster Care, through age 21 at time of application are given High Priority preference.

Available to potential tenants interested in leasing affordable housing. “One stop” affordable and special needs housing database for the Greater Cleveland area; including vacancies, photos, maps, and telephone contacts.  Individual or family searching for affordable housing.  Includes Housing Choice Vouchers for program participants  


Cuyahoga County Office of Homeless Services

Emergency Shelters, Transitional Housing, Permanent Housing, Drop-in-Centers and Homeless Prevention
